The caravan park is situated in the quiet village of
Out Rawcliffe, and the local attractions include:
Every year in the grounds of the hall, we host various events, including Motoring Heritage's classic car weekends, and a Salute to the 40's weekend including various exhibitions and a dance in a large marquee. In conjunction with the Salute to the 40's weekend we opened a memorial garden (pictured below) in 2002 to commemorate the soldier's who were stationed here in the 2nd World War.
There are also a number of fine restaurants all within easy reach. David Bellamy Conservation Award ..... Since being awarded the Gold award in 2005, we are striving to keep this prestigious award. We currently have several on conservation schemes on the park, ranging from the cleaning and aeration of the pond, to which we have recently added some fish, to the bat breeding project with the help of the Local Bat Conservation Group. We would like to remind all our customers and future customers that we are a countryside park and efforts must be made to ensure that we are environmentally friendly to the surrounding countryside & wildlife. Please feel free to come and view our wide range of new and used caravans on display, set in 25 acres of peaceful countryside. Our friendly and efficient staff are always pleased to be of assistance to you. Office hours are from 10a.m. to 4p.m. Calor gas is also available. Electric is by card meter. There is a well stocked shop and laundry on site. Dogs are allowed on the caravan park but must be kept under control, and are not permitted to foul the site and surrounding grounds. Dog waste receptacles are provided on site. |
